The USO's Mission and Leadership
The Mission
USO of New England is a private, nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide morale, welfare and recreation-type services to our men and women in uniform. The original intent of Congress — and enduring style of USO delivery — is to represent the American people by extending a touch of home to the military. USO New England is a chartered affiliate of USO and has helped provide service members and their families with more than 5.6 million annual visits to USO centers around the world.
The Spirit of New England
USO New England, with it's headquarters in Boston, continues an old New England tradition; offering a warm and friendly hand to those in uniform. The spirit is lively and continues to flourish; the task is performed with enthusiasm and Yankee know-how. The result is the ongoing success of the familiar USO slogan, " A touch of home". USO responds to our service people whether their needs be recreation, information, family aid, or friendly guidance.
